Hi, my name is Brooke and I am the founder of MYLOSTBUDDY.com. I am also a proud mother of three little ones'. If your kids are like mine, they are very attached to their blankets. Losing one of the blankets would almost mean the end of the world for my kids (not to mention me).

We have had many "close calls" with the loss of a treasured blanket. One day I found myself digging in a trash can at a Mexican restaurant after the lunch rush had ended. After looking through the trash can for about an hour with my son hysterically crying "Blankey in Trash," I was fortunate to find my son's blanket in my car wedged under his car seat. But while I was searching in that trash can, I was asking myself why I hadn't written my name and phone number on his blanket. If someone had found the blanket in a parking lot, or a grocery store, or at the park, it could be returned to my son. It was then that I realized how much a cute patch could help a parent out. The patch can be for either a boy or a girl, it can be sewn or ironed to your "buddy", and it can be registered online so it can be returned to the owner.

Since that day, I have added a patch to both of my little ones' blankets ... so if they do get lost in the future … they will hopefully end up back in my child's arms again.
